O Mon Power Center

The O Mon Power Center Project is a major energy hub in Vietnam, encompassing several gas-fired power plants, including O Mon 1 & 2 & 3 & 4, designed to meet the growing electricity demand in the southern region.

O Mon 1 Gas-Fired Power Plant

  • Capacity: 2x330MW

  • Owner: EVNGENCO2

  • Investment cost: $750 million

  • COD: 2009 (Unit 1), 2015 (Unit 2)


O Mon 2 Gas-Fired Power Plant

  • Capacity: 1,050MW

  • Owner: EVN

  • Investment cost: $1.2 billion


O Mon 3 & 4 Gas-Fired Power Plant

  • Current status:

    O Mon 3: Consulting contract signing of construction survey and FS between SH1PP (Song Hau 1 Oil and Gas Electricity PMU) and the consortium of PECC2 (Power Engineering Consulting JSC 2) and PECC3 (Power Engineering Consulting JSC 3)

    O Mon 4: International open bidding for EPC package with a duration of 34 months
