Block B - O Mon Gas Pipeline

The Block B - O Mon Gas Pipeline Project is a 431-kilometer pipeline system, including 329 kilometers offshore and 102 kilometers onshore, designed to transport natural gas from Block B to the O Mon power complex in Vietnam.

Location: From Block B through Kien Giang and Ca Mau provinces to Can Tho city


Owner: SWPOC (Southwest Pipeline Operating Co.)


Investment cost: $1.277 billion


Project scale: 431km length, including 329km offshore and 102km onshore pipeline, distribution station, valve station and other utilities


Project lifetime: 23 years


Project consultant: ICOFFSHORE (Institute of Construction for Offshore Engineering)


Subcontractor: PVE (PetroVietnam Engineering Corporation)


Onshore pipeline's EPC: The consortium PTSC (PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation) and LILAMA 18
