The Pusri IIIB Plant Project is a significant industrial undertaking aimed at constructing and operating a state-of-the-art ammonia-urea fertilizer plant in Palembang, Indonesia, with a focus on energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.

  • 445,500 tons of ammonia/year

  • 907,500 tons of urea/year

Owner: Pupuk Indonesia


Investment cost: $670 million


Financing source: Self-financing scheme & bank loans


EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning):

  • Contractors: The consortium of Wuhuan Engineering Co. Ltd., PT. Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk

  • Value: 9,500 billion Rp

  • Wuhuan accounts for 84.9% of the package, Adhi accounts for 15.1% of the package


Technology:

  • Technology of urea production: Toyo Engineering Corporation (Japan)

  • Technology of ammonia production: KBR (USA)
